Well then whose strength, has increased the most. I am not questioning Moffit, but most LSU players do terrible lifting at the NFL combines. This is just a fact. Which players have improved the most under his program?
Why is the NFL combine regarded as the end-all-be-all of physical fitness for these guys?
LSU incorporates a ton of olympic lifts. Basically the exact opposite of the (one) lift they do at the combine.. the bench press, which is done with the shittiest form available.
If they moved to 315 lb bench press or DBs you'd get a much better showing from LSU athletes.

I am not a weight lifter. So it is hard for me to understand why LSU players do so poorly when lifting for the pro combines. By this time, players entering the draft know what is expected and which lifts will be tested. The fact that the LSU offensive line has been pushed around by inferior teams the last few years means something. Coach Stud has taken a lot of heat because the offensive line gets pushed backwards when a yard is needed for a first down. And this happens against less than average teams. Does strength or technique play the biggest part in this?
