The Jackal
Bruce Willis rarely plays a bad guy and he really makes this movie incredible despite Richard Gere's laughable portrayal of an IRA terrorist. I wish Willis would play more bad guys, he does a really good job.
Transiberian
I gave it 3 stars on Netflix. It took a looong time for things to get really interesting in this movie. I wasn't really pleased with Woody Harrelson's role in this one. Overall it was worth the watch, but not quite thrilling enough warrant multiple views.
The Green Hornet
Let me start by saying I know nothing of the comic book origins of The Green Hornet or his particular story lines. Having said that, this was a decent action movie. It has some really funny parts. And I liked how they were okay with making it "comic bookey". It was like the movie was completely comfortable with its cheesy criminals (kudos to James Franco), absurd events and the like. I often say that I can't really like a movie or a TV show where I dislike the main character. Well, I really disliked Seth Rogen's character. Like I said, I don't know how accurate that is to the comic book character. Kato was great though. He basically stole every scene he was in. Although I thought I wasted the extra money for 3-D, I'm glad I saw it.

I've been meaning to watch the the 70s version. But I keep missing it when it comes on TCM.

Wow, I screwed this up. I was trying to post a link to this thread in reference to Kafka talking about getting zero replies on his threads sometimes.

Watched Transsiberian on Netflix a few weeks ago. It was decent, definitely took some twists that I wasn't expecting

Green Hornet is kinda like Big Trouble in Little China. The main character thinks he's the hero, but his sidekick is actually the one with the arse kicking abilities.
Coincidence that they were both Asian?
