as skeptical as I was upfront, this interview literally blew me away.
It's one of two things.
Either Krag has been reading the rant for the past 6 months, and addressed every issue we had with his press conference to shut us up....
Or, the much more likely choice, this guy was being genuine. He took real questions and gave real answers. Our defense is going to be SOOO much better with an offense than runs more than 58 plays with 27 min TOP.

It is funny...
I think that's the most encouraging thing from the whole PC... Kragthorpe sees the obvious problems with the offense that we all see.
His knowledge flexing (throwing out coaches he's worked under, specific schemes he's worked with), and his insistence upon doing and sticking with what works really stood out to me.
I think he's hungry to right his reputation, as well.
This wasn't the sexy hire a lot of people wanted, but I think it will end up being a sneaky good one. Fairly obvious this was the guy Les wanted all along, and maybe Gary was kept around for last year because Les was aware of Kragthorpe's wife's health condition and didn't want to risk the potential of having him and losing him... we will likely never know...
I was lukewarm about the hire, but everything I've seen since has me very optimistic.
