nobody was hating on dooley when he was recruiting for LSU.

Rebel, I know he was the recruiting coordinator and TE coach for the first few years at LSU. He was then moved to RB/ST coach after Haywood bolted. Do you know of any particular players who signed with LSU when Dooley was the primary recruiter? I've looked but have can't find anything.

USC has taken a few guys that they ordinarily wouldn't because of low numbers on the roster but don't be mistaken in regards to the academics at USC.They are top notch.Ours pale in comparison tho their's.The entire Pac 10 have good academic standings. They are an academic league. Also most of their kids are west coast kids. That's a bit easier than pulling kids from the other side of the country. They will eventually after the sanctions but they have a great advantage in Cali. Most kids grow up wanting to play for them. Why do you think kiffin jumped on that job. It's easy to recruit to USC.

You must not have looked at all. Dooley was the recruiting coordinator from 2000-2002. click this link lsusports.net, make sure you sort it by class, and try not to be impressed with the freshmen listed. and thats only the 2001 class. I'm not crediting Dooley with every player signing, however I will say that no one can say he cannot or could not recruit
