Yea the financial side would be tough.

I think it would be cool if we had a BCS "Final Four" hosted by a different venue each year. Two games one week, championship the next week. That way different cities could have a chance to host, even if they were outside of the BCS rotation (Fiesta, Sugar, Orange, Rose).

Obviously there would be some problems, like the field getting ripped up and filling/emptying the stadium between games. But, none the less, I think it would be an interesting proposal.

Once again, I'm not sure about the financial side.

ETA: Then stadiums like Texas Stadium, Georgia Dome, Lucas Oil, Ford Field, Reliant, etc. could all have a chance to host.

Im not sure how much different the financials would be from what we have now? It seems you are just taking 3 BCS games and making them playoff games.

you always hear of senators and shite trying to frick up the system, but you never really hear college presidents push for it

i'm thoroughly convinced that the small schools understand they're fee riding off the producer schools, and if they push too hard to get into the big money, the big schools will create a new division, killing the smaller schools

playoffs would frick it all up because the member schools WOULD have to decide on how to split the money up. the BCS conferences alone would kill each other doing so, and i can only imagine the fallout of the BCS schools getting even more money (and creating a bigger gap) than the small schools
