run to set up pass, or pass to set up the run? (Fuente)

Miles certainly has shown us he is of the former, with his Michigan roots and all. Here is a quote from Fuente, which seems to mesh very well with Miles' philosophy, and actually Saban's also for that matter.
Fuente: "I personally as a football coach understand how much easier it is to throw the ball well if you can run it." - AND-
" We’re going to run the football. When we’re able to run the football it is easier to throw the football."
If this guys interviews well and he and Miles have good rapport, this could very well be our man.
I am a but concerned that he will only stay 3 or 4 years since he is young and will want at some time to step up to HC, but it is worth the risk, as it is worth the risk that he only has "co-OC" status now, because he sounds like he just would fit us well.

I'll take a new OC every 3-4 yrs if he leaves for a HC gig or via success not failure. Im willing to give any of these guys a chance...

if you want to lead a top notch organization you must hire top notch people. develop them and yes, they will need to move up and out but the alternative is to hire people that won't leave but arent' top notch. they are basically "yes" men. it killed chollie mac and killed bobby bowden, etc. personally, i don't think 34 is that young; fuente is just beginning to enter the most productive years of his life. i say hire him.
