CJ was special as well.
Had CJ kept up his freshman scoring pace and played 4 years he would have surpassed Pete's scoring record.
Is CJ still the highest scoring freshman ever in the NCAA.
I know at one time he had the most points from a freshman while Pete had the Soph, Jr and Sr record

Pistol could not play varsity ball as a freshman. They had separate freshman teams.
