I don't think it's greed, just opportunism. There was fear on both sides.
Miles:
What if at Michigan Les could not recruit like he can at LSU, and his deficiencies would be more exposed and contribute to losses that would be wins at LSU?

What if Miles leaves and an upgrade can not be put in place? What happens to the staff? The incoming recruits?
