Now that we can put this whole Les Miles thing behind us, I'm thinking about the future. LSU has a great class coming in and a better one maturing in the system. These past few years, the issue has been offense; not offensive talent, but offensive coaching. what do you guys think about Crowton? should he be replaced, and if so, by who?

Crowton get's replaced by Gonzales. That's why he left Florida. He's waiting his turn to take over an offense. My opinion. Mike Leach would also a good OC.

Leach is more familiar with the spread though

Crowton coached for his job in the Cotton Bowl.
He passed.
He passed.

I need to look at Gonzales, but I've been thinking about Leach for a long time. I think that he would be great, but his high risk/reward system isn't as useful when you have LSU's defense to lean on

I know that one has bounced around here for awhile, but it's a bigger deal now that we have a solid QB prospect in Mettenberger
