Fantasy Baseball Physical Fight

So in my local fantasy baseball league, we had to remove an owner for blindsiding another owner at the winter meetings (held at a bar) held just before Christmas. He pushed the other guy off his chair and then tried to punch him 3 or 4 times while he was down. This happened after I left but this is the way it was described to me by the commissioner. The commissioner and the two co-commissioners just made this decision last night though. Should something like this be determined by a league wide vote because right before they made this decision they added a rule to the league constitution that any owner who tries to physically harm another owner (not internet tough guy stuff but physical presence and intended contact) will be removed from the league.
I used to be commissioner and co-commissioner of this league but got out three years ago. I'm glad, but I don't like the way this went down on initial impression. Now the guy's actions were inexcusable, but I just think the guy didn't get "due process." Thoughts?

Rouge I wonder. The funny thing is that the guy who got taken down, Jay, he's hated. He's called The Evil Empire with great keeepers but he doesn't have enough hardware to show for it lately unlike da Yankees. Like me, but I didn't make the playoffs the last two years after making it the first 7 of 8 years (4 out of 10 advance).
So I talked to the haymaker, Bill, and he said that Jay winked at him with his shite eating grin trying to "piss him off" and he said it worked...lol. There's more to it though I know. He kind of got off the phone abruptly, saying he had also been "removed from all contact and friendship with the group."

These guys take this shite serious. I myself had an entire week's worth of fantasy points eliminated because I had an extra guy on my IR. Another post-haste decision made by commissioner vote. It dropped me from first to last since this is a points based, ranked league, and took away my title chance although I made a furious charge to finish 5th. That was in 2007, and when I saw us lose to Arkansas I thought I was reliving a nightmare.
