When he was at WV he had very competive teams and was very highly thought of. Other than money and prestige there was no reason to leave WV. Now he proably has a little more money in his pocket but no prestige and the Michigan faithful and WV faithful do not like him. I guess it reconfirms the old saying that the grass is not always greener on the other side.

Look at the difference in respect that Peterno and Beamer have because they stayed loyal to their schools.

Schools are as guilty of this as are the coaches. I seem to remember Rich wanting to stay at Tulane and even showed up to the announcement with a tulane tie on...I think Tommy Bowden was the coach at the time and was leaving for Clemson???
