re: Looking for an Italian restaurant in Chicago

i took the drivelady to Il Mulino when I was there this summer. service is excellent and nearly all of the servers were straight off the boat. really authentic and its located in the biggs mansion which was one of the houses that survived the chicago fire. the food was really good not great but it's classic italian. you're gonna pay top dollar but if you're treating yourself/woman for a one night thing in chiTOWN i'd definitely recommend it.

giordanos pizza was also sick nasty (aka the shite aka go eat there NOW)
