RATTLE! I DID IT! I woke up early and was determined to figure it out...
And I did.
It's not perfect, but it's my first gift with text animation added...
After I re-read a lot of what you had said, about the visibility, I started playing around with the layers... so basically you have all your text layers at the top, click the sequence bar and select "view" or "no view"... got it.
( took me about 25 clicks before I figure out the multi-frame select... )
Well, here it is, thanks for the help man.

Excellent! You are on the way. You can now use the same concepts to create something simple like this:
Instead of text in the top layer, it's just an image. (and a bit of blur for a motion effect)
