The Cotton Bowl has some amazing history. Now that it is played in Jerry's world, it will have increased exposure. The BCS-era hasn't been friendly to it.

The Cotton Bowl got shafted in favor of the Fiesta Bowl. The Cotton was one of the Big 4 bowls and with the collapse of the Southwest Conference, it went down. Hopefully it is starting its ascent back to its historical level.
