I don't know if I am your Dad's age, but I was 16 when this game was played and it has remained one of the signature wins of the Mac/LSU era in my mind and heart ever since. An incredible effort by a clearly out-manned LSU team. They showed so much heart - and Cholly Mac showed Frank Broyles how to prepare a team and coach for victory.

Broyles never got the bitter taste out of his mouth either. In his later days as an ABC analyst with Keith Jackson he rarely was positive in his comments towards the Tigers.
Oh yeah, Brittenum to Crockett was a great tandem. Th.IDE guys kicked arse.

It was beyond question, one of the biggest wins in LSU footbal history...
