Redemptorist RB Jeremy Hill has decommitted from LSU and plans to take all of his visits. He still says LSU leads.

I'm not shocked really.

Never thought he was as "solid" as people insisted.

I actually think he'll go to Bama.

Well, just have to go to work. That's what recruiting is all about. Fortunately, we have Collins on our side in this one. He said LSU still leads so we just need to close the deal back up and it's all good.

Not sure what the guy is looking for. A guy like Mett committing, being a pocket passer, would be ideal for a guy like Hill.

By the way, please nobody talk shite about him for decommitting. It's the responsible thing to do if he want to make sure he has made the right choice. And he very well could end up here anyways so let's keep it clean and mature.

That's assuming all those running backs are equally as talented and the same players. They're not.

It's always a big deal when you lose a good football player.

don't think like that... I want to keep him home. I am not too worried, and think another visit from the staff and a sit down with the FAM will firm him back up

its not a big deal at all.

in fact, it could be the reason he decommitted.

LSU should move on.

Is there a reason behind this? Or did he just say frick it, I feel like going to take some visits?

I tend to agree, and I'm not demeaning Hill.

I think Hilliard is a better player, but regardless if there's one spot we can afford to lose a good player it is a RB.

But I'd be happy to have him back on board.

I will say, I interviewed Hill/Collins once and Hill was skeptical back then and this was prior to the start of the year. You could tell even then he was interested in other schools and not as sold out as a guy like Collins/Freak.

Now if Jarvis Landry decommits...
