Is there any proof of this? I have seen this posted many times but never verified.
For the record, I don't like it one bit and it tells me that--in the spring of 2010, he was immature and self-important. And while I wasn't there and don't know all of the facts, my guess is that this was a little more than something that any college chick would slap you for or throw a drink in your face. Assuming that is correct, then I don't like it at all. (If she is just that uptight that rather than waste a drink she called the cops, I might feel differently).
That said, if the incident knocked him down a few pegs, made him more respectful of women, made him realize the rules apply to him and made him realize that despite his talent he almost lost everything...and if he has grown up and realizes he got lucky and got a second chance and now it's time to be a man, grow up, take things seriously and go redeem himself...I'm all for it and will cheer for him.

Georgia quarterback Zach Mettenberger was arrested early Sunday morning and is facing five misdemeanor charges: underage possession of alcohol, disorderly conduct, obstruction and two counts of possession of false identification in an incident near Valdosta.
