Do you think LSU can atleast get 40% of the stadium? The last thing any of us wants to see is a maroon out.

I can see 30% LSU, 50% A&M, and 20% indifferent locals or corporate employees.
That is not because LSU fans won't want to be there, that is because of ticket allotment and the nature of bowl games.

Do cowboys season ticket holders get preferential treatment for cotton bowl tickets? Are they offered tickets too? I don't have season tickets, but I can see a lot of cowboys fans in the dallas area who have them wanting to go to this game because it will be a great game to watch.

They had some kind of option. I don't know the details, but I'm sure that's part of the reason the allotments were so small.

It will be far from a home game for A&M. There were only 1000 general public tickets left when A&M was announced. A&M and LSU each got 12,500 tickets. The rest went to corporate sponsors or people who bought tickets before either team was announced.
LSU has a pretty strong presence in Houston and Dallas...I think a good number of you show up, probably in numbers pretty close to A&M's.

40% is what 44,000. On a Friday. A week after 90% of those people took that day off. To a non-BCS, non-relevant bowl. Look I love the Tigers and Most of the Tiger faithful, but, I don't think we travel as well as you think we will to this deal. Especially with the circumstances being what they are. I would be happy to see 30k but expect 25k.

Cowboy season ticket holders DO NOT have any options or preferential access to Cotton Bowl tickets. However, they do get a 3 day advance opportunity to buy tickets to next year"s LSU-Oregon game.

Ticket prices are insane. I'm watching this one on TV at home with some cold beer.
