Thinking about this in terms of a normal camera/computer and cops, I don’t think they can confiscate a camera/computer just for shits and giggles. If they thought there was something incriminating or pertinent to a case they would have to get some sort of warrant wouldn’t they? I know on real TV (not CSI etc) when they bust computer hackers etc. they have to have a warrant before they can search and seize computers. Can’t see why a harmless game cam would be any different. I may be way off, but that makes enough sense to me.
