Miles is 2-2 against Saban and what?? 2-3?? against Meyer?

Miles' first win over Saban is meaningless given that was his first year; Saban also outcoached him in that game, and that was a 6-6 Bama team. (A perfect example of Leslie's specialty, allowing clearly inferior teams to push us to our limit before we squeak out victory [as we are then disregarded by the media and called out for being unimpressive/pretenders.]) He's 3-3 vs. Meyer, and it took 5/5 on 4th in '07 and a fake FG flip in '10, with both Florida teams being below-average at the time as well.

Do you think the bama and Florida fans are like.. shite well our offense just sucked this year.. let's fire the coaches and see what we get next year?
Hell no.. they both have extreme talent on offense and couldn't really capitolize..

Ok dude, but we've had extreme talent on offense (probably second to none) and haven't capitalized in THREE YEARS. Why reward Miles for it?

quote:

And according to you they had off years.. but our year was so off that we should fire our coach.. even though we beat both..Take your head out of your arse.. and review the situation.

Take your head out of Leslie's arse and actually read what I said. I never advocated firing him. I merely said he doesn't deserve an extension due to the complete ineptitude of the offense, something that hasn't changed in 3 years. "Review" yourself.

quote:

There is no domination in this league.. Win. That's it.

Win what? 8 is probably Leslie's realistic average season. This past season's 10 will (in retrospect) be found to be uncharacteristic of the new LSU. Every bounce fell our way. We're awful compared to the usual 10-win SEC team. Again, win what? A divisional crown? How long until our next one? How long are you willing to wait?

10-2 is nice, certainly an improvement from the last two seasons in terms of record, but we're essentially the same team now as we were against UNC. On offense we're actually probably the same team as we were against Washington. The progression is simply not there. When things go back into equilibrium next season and we're sitting at 8-4 and our offense still looks like crap (not to mention the defense is suffering the losses of PP7, Shepard, and Nevis), are you going to advocate he get another extension?

No way....you cannot justify this with the state of economy, plus his contract is guaranteed. That is his rollover....
