Billy G went and saw him recently. Don't think he has a committable offer anymore. Would not expect him in this class even if he wants to be.

Exactly why I said if we want him...

I think Carter, OBJ, Sylve, and Rodgers are all takes of Hakeem...

I'd take him ahead of Sylve and Rogers,I love Sylve's speed but not his injuries. If he didn't have the injury history then it wouldn't be a choice but he does.Rogers is not that good imo.I don't know what we are thinking with him if he's a take without bringing Teddy Bridgewater.Flowers is rated lower than all of them but look at his film and you'll see that this is not a kid that should be rated where he his.He can play WR or S and is a very good athlete.Getting shafted because he doesn't run a 4.4 but everyone has him rated low so there has to be something I'm missing.Impressions i get are that TexasTigah is correct and he doesn't have a commitable offer. His only 2 commitable offers of his top 5 are Michigan and GT from what I'm told.

I saw a Lafell clone when I watched his video

Not as polished or as fast as Lafell but the kid is a very good athlete.I don't know what i'm missing about him though because of his rankings and the fact that everyone seems to be bailing on him.Everyone says that he's a good kid and has no issues in that department.

New Question:
Who would win in a staring contest...
Hakeem or RR?
VS.

We are taking one more WR.

GABlueDog,are you counting 1 more after Beckham or just Beckham?Seems like we are trying to take 2 more counting Beckham in that number.Just curious. Thanks

IMO 1 more...including Beckham. Beckham is not a sure thing and last minute surprises usually happen in recruiting hence the ongoing recruitment of Carter, Rogers, Flowers, etc.
I can't see us taking in excess of 6 more commitments: they want 1 more QB (preferably Mettenberger); 1 more OL (preferably Robinson); 1 more WR (preferably Beckham); 2 more DL (preferably Jernigan & Rasco); 1 more LB or DB (?...could be Maggit, Frost, Perryman, Paul, Thompson, Raven, Fleming).
Landry is a committed WR. Both Turner and the coaches have stated that he is being recruited as a WR. Lewis is a WR but could end up at S. If he stays, thats 4 WRs; if he ends up on defense that is 3 WR. I just can't see the coaches taking more than 1 more WR...such as Beckham.
