Sagna and Fabregas with the goals, Chamakh missed a sitter. Two points back after the Chelsea embarassmnet. Next up, Hurricane Gareth.

Feelin' good about next Saturday. Coming off 2 great away wins with 90% of our preferred starters available. Nasri was our guardian in the midfield today. Cesc again with a surprisingly sloppy passing display. In fact both games were uncharacteristic performances from us. I bet we see plenty of clean passes all o'er the carpet against Spurs, as it's a comfortable home environment.
Anxious to see Theo and RvP back on the field. Missing our speediest and our most incisive.

I am as well. Arsene rested Theo and hopefully he will keep Asseou-Koto back with out any support for Bale. How about Fabianski? He played lights out.

Yeah it was nervy to see that post deflection at the end of the 1st half but in the 2nd he had several assured parries or saves.
good summary from Henry Winter

I agree. But, these are the matches Arsenal would lose in the past. The resolve of the lads is very strong.

Fabianski played great, but my goodness our CBs are total crap. Glad we have been grinding out results, but we HAVE to upgrade at CB in January. Also, surely that was Arshavin's last start for awhile. Outside of his simple assist on Sagna's goal he played yet another horrific match. I'm guessing Nasri starts on the left and Walcott on the right next time around.
As for Fabianski, I'm still somewhat skeptical of him long-term. Don't forget Almunia used to have good stretches every now and then and then he'd crap the bed (like Fabianski did only last week). I'm cautiously optimistic of LK21.

The Gunners are only 2 points behind Chelsea!
+1 to both of these

I agree that we need one inspired defensive signing in january. especially if vermaelen aint going to be fit enough. But arshavin needs to start on the left wing every game. his shooting has been off and he rarely passes the ball when he has it(8 passes in the entire game) but in bigger games he seems to be the best player on field. walcott can replace him depending on his first half performance.
