Job A: 92k salary with $15,000 signing bonus
Job B: 94k salary with 6,700 time-based SARs on a natural gas producer currently trading around $30
Both jobs have same benefits (401k matching, insurance, relocation money, vacation, 9/80, same city, etc...)

Don't confuse the situation. Which job would you rather doing? And what is a SAR?

Congratulations, either way!
I'd go with whichever job you think you would enjoy the most including such considerations as locale of the jobs, travel requirements, opportunity for advancement...those sorts of things.
The financial terms are almost a wash, IMO.

Definitely overthinking the situation. Thanks for the input

I will say that I have plenty of stock options that are worthless. But, your company's stock very well may go up. Something to think about.
