I went to Natchez and stayed at the Riverside B&B. It was great! Right on the bluff overlooking the river, you can walk all the way down to the Casino on the walkway overlooking the river. You can tour some plantation homes too.

Natches was our second choice...maybe next time....unless it's my choice then it will be near a golf course.
