Remove the helmet and pads, bet the severity of injuries diminishes. May have an occasional severe head injury, but fewer injuries total.

I have played in flag football games where heads were busted and had to go to the emergency room and we weren't being overly aggressive. It would be scary watching men the size of a NFL player playing without head gear or shoulder pads. I agree it would slow the game down overall but there will always be crazy guys out there who don't care about their bodies.

definitely

look at the head injury rates for rugby players, theyre almost nonexistent compared to football players...now of course that will never happen, and i wouldnt support it either
