Why don't we just demote him to co-recruiting coordinator along with Frank Wilson, promote Gonzales or somebody else on the staff upon whom you would give the interim or associate head coach title? It would be cheaper and probably more effective.

Assistant coaches rarely, if ever, have a buyout. Most generally only have 1 year contracts that are renewed after the season. I can't imagine that Crowton has any buyout.
