Russell Shepard needs to be taking JJ's run snaps.

There's no reason that Jefferson should have 10+ rushing attempts a game. We have a guy that, get this, was the #1 running QB in the country coming out of high school. I just refuse to believe Les Miles is too stupid to see this.

Its been stated before.

Only edge that Jefferson has over Lee is the running threat, and we have multiple athletes on this team that can do a MUCH better job at it than him.

Lee in at QB, and Shep for the situational plays.

Absolutley. Jefferson should be stricly Lee's backup. And any designed QB draw, sneak, option, etc... should be run by Shepard.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I was yelling it the whole game. He is a true option quarterback and I believe could possibly be as explosive as McFadenn was if we give him the rock.

Les is an f ing idiot.

Running, not throwing.

i'm all for some shep in the wildcat, but he is still learning to play wide out. i don't want to put too much on his plate right now.

frick that. We need to stop coaching like a bunch of pussies and put the ball in our fricking play maker's hands. Telling #10 to take a snap and run here or run there or run the option isn't "putting too much on his plate".

It's been said that Shep practices with the QBs and WRs in practice.

There's no question that should be happening. It's highly unlikely that Shep throws much worse than JJ.

Shep is no where close to being as big as McFadden and just isn't the same player. That said, he should be getting JJ's snaps.
