I followed Orphan's tutorial to vector a whiskey bottle. Once completed I decided to take advantage of Jack Daniels and PP both having the No. 7! It took me forever to make the label and I admit the scrolling on the label sucks but the only way I knew to do it was by hand(anyone who knows a better way to do it please let me know.)
And I just noticed a typo before (80 Proof). Sorry I F'd up!
Special thanks to Orphan. I hope you don't mind me hijacking bottle vector idea, and thanks for putting a great tutorial on the board for everyone!

Nice work, i was going to work on vectors tonight adobe has crapped out on my. i am trying to reinstall my CS5 master suite and something has happened to my computer. looks like i need to get an external hard drive and reformat the whole computer. No photoshop for a while. which sucks because i have a wedding to shoot in a couple of weeks.

LOVE IT! I don't mind. That's why I put it up and try to answer/help out. I like seeing what others can do.
It doesn't really "suck". Just needs to be tweeked. I'll throw something together for you.

I use the pen tool and traced the scadoddles(don't know what else to call them) of one side, then copied and flipped it.
Having a legit copy is a great thing, mine is in a very safe place.

I will try it, maybe tomorrow. I have been working on a pic of an 1950's Buick I am attempting to vector up. I am probably 25% in to it and my are starting to bother me so I'm giving it a rest for the night.

Very well done HooDoo. I'm gonna look for a tutorial on how a to do realistic renders of a car. It was done about 5-6 years ago.

not trying to high jack, I tried my first car, drew it with the pen tool. Finally understanding the dang pen tool.
Warning this is not good by any means but i was proud that i was able to use the pen tool.
