Ok, my last take on the state of WV. As a Mfg Rep I was traveling with a hardware wholesalers sales force this spring for a week notifying them of a new changeover to my product unlike the one they have stocked for over 25 years. Needless to say this was a touchy situation for the entire week. However, as I mention in an earlier post, these are some of the friendiest, toughest, yet understanding folks I'd had the pleasure of doing business. Enjoy their visit, they made mine a great experience. While I was in the town where the recent mining deaths had occured, the salesman I was with told me of the week when the mine disaster had occured. While the miners lives were in question, a large number of media people were swamping a town with just two restaurants. The locals, concerned about the national media and the presidents arrival, sent large amounts of food to make sure that the camera men and reporters were fed while in the town they loved as they still worried about their loved ones lives. They may live in the hills rather than the swamps, but they sure sound like our kind of americans. These are good folks regardless of how badly we kick their arese on Saturday night. Geaux Tigahs......

Maybe my rant wasn't over. I still wanted to tell the story about the town where the miners died. If there's a problem with that....tough shite.....
