This should drastically reduce one of the biggest problems basketball players have faced for decades, nipple chafing.

Hope the new material will look and fit better than the Adidas football jerseys some of the college football teams wear. Adidas needs to go back and re-design all their football jersey's as well. About on the same level as those god awful cheap looking and poor fitting Reebok potato sack jerseys that the NFL teams wear.
Speaking of, why does the NFL have a contract with a British company to provide the team uniforms? I'm sure it's all about the money, but god those jerseys are cheap looking and don't fit properly like you'd expect an NFL game jersey should. What's wrong with a "Made in the USA" Nike, Russell Athletic or Under-Armour uniform?

there were talks a while back about all the teams going to the same uni template. I guess this is the first step

and I guess the NBA has allowed teams with recent uni changes to wear black jerseys again

I always really liked the Magic and Bulls' black unis. I had the Shaq black pin-striped jersey when I was a kid.
