My question is how we used Lee
We were up by 22 points with 10 minutes left in 4th quarter and we all expected to see Lee get some quality snaps. Instead Miles waited too late IMO to get him in with about 5 minutes left in the game.
Once in the game all Lee did was hand the ball off. I am sorry but there is no secret that passing confidence is Lee's issue we need to develope not his handing off ability. The game was in hand and I guess if all you are looking for is to close out the game you hand the ball off, however I think if your looking past this game and QB development you need to let Lee pass.
IMO Miles let this opportunity for Lee to develope slip by yet again. We are going to need him in a game where he has to pass to win ...not just hand the ball off. Worst case MSU intercepts the ball...with our D and the field position this was not going to cost us the game...but it did however cost valuable learning experience in developing your number 2 QB.
