Ridley needs to shut up, because its not his place to be calling out a teammate 2 weeks into the season publicly. Sorry if some of you like this, but as a former coach, I'd bench a player for openly talking negatively like this about another teammate. He didn't need to bring up the hardER working shite.
That is something that should come from only the coaching staff, not players.
How? He never said names, and he really didn't say anything offensive, just motivational. People have been wanting a leader, well there's a prime example of one. A leader motivates other players when they aren't working as hard as they should be. You should know that if you are actually a coach.

I agree with this. Ridley did exactly what a leader should do.

It's been no secret on this team. The only people who play around here are the people that put in the work. And whoever puts in the work, they're successful in what they do and confident in their reads, that's who's going to play.
This is just a WAG, but when Ridley says "work", I believe he's referring to the process of learning LSU's plays (i.e. homework). Anyone who cannot consistently evaluate the defense and adjust their responsibilities accordingly, won't play. That's my take. Again, disclaimer: WAG
