I have the sunset kickoff shot of the stadium before the '07 UF game in my office.
Does anyone know where I can find a vintage photo of the original tiger stadium? Maybe a photo from its inauguration or the first season?

I'll try, but I can't remember the guys name.
Do you have a pic of the piece you have?

I appreciate this thread! Does anyone know where I can get a multi picture/photo in one single layout that shows how Tiger Stadium has changed over the years?

The mural of Cannon's goalline stand tackle against Ole Miss in 1959 in the Grand Hall of the old Belmont Hotel on Airline Hwy. in north Baton Rouge.

Does anyone know where I can find accurate lsu rosters? I contacted mr winan about the photos, and he only knows the photo of the game is most likely from the 1935 season. Lsu won the sec that year, and I'm trying to track down who that #18 is.

Would be pretty cool.

I'm still trying to find an even earlier photo of tiger stadium, from the 20's.
My ultimate goal is to have photos of tiger stadium thru the decades next to helmets from that era. If these mid-30's photos are the best I can get, then that's how it is. That aerial shot of the crowded stadium will look great next to the winged leather helmet

That church in Florida should sponsor a public burning of these pictures. What the f*&% was that artist thinking?

I don't know how accurate it is, but I found a source on the web that has football rosters for LSU going back to 1893. Here's the one for 1935, which lists 26 players, but only one (#47 Charles Rohn) with a number: LINK. Of course Mickal & Tinsley were the stars of that team.
P.S. -- If you want more detailed info, the best LSU football historian on this website is tigger1, so you might want to start a thread with his name in it if you really want a good answer.

I actually think I may have the rosters in a book at home. I'll see when I get home this evening.
