...final round, then you're shite out of luck. The local NBC affiliate, Channel 6 is going with the MDA telethon.
I called and asked why since it's listed on DTV. The girl said, "I don't know but there will be no golf today."
The real answer: MONEY...MDA is a business and they pay big bucks for that pre emption.

He's raised about a billion dollars in 50 years. MD still exists. That money goes to fundraisers/management. That's why they can pay to buy out programming. MDA sucks. Jerry sucks. The irony is that non-profits are all about profits.

And where does MDA get their money? From idiots who think they will save the chirren when they are really lining the pockets of MDA execs. The golf tournament gets their money from companies who produce products and services. Like I said..it's a scam.
