Yes. He may be the most dangerous return man we've ever seen at LSU, and that proved to help us IMMMENSELY but he's a CB first.

I think we should keep him on punt returns, maybe not kickoffs. It is a really hard call. He is SOOO good on the returns that you don't want to mess that up. Field position is everything.

should only be on special teams when we really need it.

Of course, Les knew we would suck in the 2nd half and that UNC would come back in the end - which is why he left him in on special teams. He's sly as a fox.

Nah...y'all need a new nutritionist or something for that football team or either he drinks a little during the season. This is a common problem for him and something is happening.

javier Arenas played as much last year and the year before as Peterson does now and he didn't have this problem. Something is going on and I don't know what it is.

I think he needs to talk to, wait....no, someone on LSU's staff needs to consult with Deion Sanders on how that guy played as much as he did back in the day and didn't cramp up as much as PP is over the past two seasons

Defense caused 2 turnovers giving good feild position, & only scored 7 pts. Defense played very good, but thy were on the feild all night & when they got tired UNC made the run late in the game. Offense could not get anything going. Peterson was great. Good surge from d-line getting pressure on qb.

If the offense would have had some sustained drives, maybe Peterson would have had more time to rest.

I worry about him getting injured on Special Teams. A lot of money can be lost for this young man. I liked Randle and some of the other guys being rotated for him. Kick Return and Punt Return are the most violent plays in football.

Faulk, DDavis, Skylar Greene, all played special teams and returned punts and/or kickoffs. Charles Woodson won the Heisman doing what PP is trying to do. PP needs either 1) better conditioning or 2) have his electrolytes monitored by someone. Cramping in crunchtime is going to cost him money in the NFL. If he cannot play special teams and defense like these other guys did, then the question why needs to be asked and answered.

When was the last time you saw a return man get seriously injured?
It's usually the other ST guys, particularly on the kicking team, that get injured.

He's the best all around football player in the country IMO. He dominates the most difficult position to play on defense, and he showed he can completely change a game just by returning kicks. He'd probably be an all conference player this season if he switched to RB/WR.

If you have that type of player, you play him as much as possible. I don't think his cramps were due to returning kicks, rather the defense's inability to stop a drive

I think this offense needs him back there returning kicks. I hope he's up to it because he's as talented a player as we've ever had.

ESPN indicated he has suppered with leg cramps since Pee-Wee football. One would think MOffit and the training staff could figure how to hydrate and monitor the guy in such a fashion as to minimize this problem?
