Kemah. Cross the Bridge and there are several right there.
Don't go to Crazy Alan's beside the Kemah Marina. Overpriced and not very good for selection or freshness. I don't like the crappy cover bands that play at the attached bar/fry-shack either.
I was in Golden Friday and bought some shrimp. They sell live shrimp and croakers for fishing too. They have about anything you could want. Blue Crabs are everywhere at this point...and I believe I saw little neck clams. No Oysters until Nov 1st. I like Golden and Roses.
