Yeah, they're in meltdown mode.

I feel sympathy for you because you seem to feel that winning is so important. Carolina football has a well documented history of disappointing those who are only satisfied by the current W-L record. I am afraid that you face a lifetime of agitation stemming from UNC football, and as such, I think you miss the more simple pleasure that are derived from a fall day at Kenan Stadium.

Yeeeesh!!!!
That oughta get a baby blue BANHAMMER!!!!!

I wonder... will UNC have to blow a redshirt or two to handle the depth problems in this game?

No, there have been none that I have heard of, at least as of 2:00 ET.

Tomorrow, no matter who we line up, its on those kids to get after LSU, and, play their asses off. If they go in expecting to get rolled, they will get rolled. If they go in thinking they have a chance, and, play well, who knows what might happen?

I am an optimist, and, I believe our guys will show up, and, play well. Whether thats good enough, or not, we'll find out then.

You are claiming that North Carolina has a LB who runs the 40 faster than Trindon Holliday? Uh, no.

Can you imagine what this place would look like if this same thing was going on at LSU right now before the season even started?

They would have to lock the rant.

5. Zach Brown, North Carolina, LB: There could've been a couple of Tar Heels on this list, as Butch Davis has infused a ton of athleticism into this program. Brown, a 6-2, 220-pound sophomore, has really blossomed in his first full season at UNC, having won the starting weakside linebacker job this spring. He'll be part of what is arguably the fastest linebacking trio in the country. According to UNC strength coach Jeff Connors, all three can run the 40 in less than 4.5 seconds. The Heel closest to Brown in the Freak quotient is strongside 'backer Bruce Carter, who made four consecutive blocked punts last season. (Carter set the UNC linebacker record with a 40½-inch vertical jump. He also clocked a 4.45 forty.)

from your link brah, .15 seconds is a stretch

from your link brah

that says Carter "brah".....read the next paragraph and it says Brown was clocked a couple of times under 4.30

"But I'm going with Brown, a former stud prep wrestler who went 29-0 with 17 pins and also ran for more than 1,500 yards as a high school senior. The first time Brown ran the 40 at UNC, Connors did a triple take at his stopwatch. It read 4.28. "I was shocked by that time," Connors says. So the veteran coach had Brown run it again, and that time he had four other guys use stopwatches to clock it. Same thing. 4.28 on four of the five watches. The other guy had Brown clocked in the low 4.30s. Connors pointed out that the team was tested running on a faster Mondo track surface, which he estimated might be worth five-hundredths of a second to one-tenth of a second. Regardless, Brown is still blazing-fast. He's also pretty strong, having upped his bench press from 315 to 380 this year. "He hasn't even scratched the surface," Connors says. "

Color my excitement for Saturday evening at 8 PM as officially quelled. I bet the LSU fans aren't too happy with our team's indiscretions, either.

From a UNC fan...
Contrary to popular belief.
I'd rather play the starters to see where LSU stands.
We wont get a gauge of LSU's progress from last year if this team is dismantled.....
