i had high hopes for this movie when the trailer came out, but after watching it i was thoroughly disappointed. nothing scary about it and all the stuff at the end was so campy and lame.

If you went intothis movie expecting a real and traditional scary movie, there was your first mistake. That's not raimis style. I'm guessing you haven't seen evil dead or army of darkness

I liked the movie but missed some of the gory effects from his classics.
I also felt the ending was telegraphed all the way back to the coin scene in the movie.
