9-3. 10-2 with a little luck and a few breaks.

Improvement all the way around.

I think Gonzales will "cover" for Les, help with sideline time management and greatly improve WR production.

My main concern is Gary Crowton. His stubborn ego, questionable playcalling and weak QB coaching/development worry me. Those BS "Read and React" WR routes make it difficult for either JJ or JL to become very "efficient" passing QB's. (A prime reason for JL's freshman P6's in 08 and JJ's spoon fed junior high playbook in 09) Having to read the defense and run the appropriate route based on what the WR sees is nonsense. Just too many variables that can go wrong there between the QB and WR when you're not running precise routes. I've heard of R & R defenses, but never on offense. That shite might work in the NFL or maybe a pass happy school like BYU, but not at LSU. Better have a Drew Brees/Peyton Manning at QB too. LSU doesn't. Hopefully "Passing Game Coordinator Gonzales" (Co-OC in my book) will eliminate this and get the WR's back to running normal routes again where the QB's/WR's wont have to "Think" so much.

GC needs to get his shite together, put a productive offense on the field in the first 6 games or resign mid-season and let BG take over. Very short rope for Crowton. Either put up or shut up and gtfo of BR........
