I certainly don't agree with over fishing of any species, but why should Marlin be taken off the menu? I'd much rather them be eaten than just thrown out to sea if they die during the catch.

I hate to see them completely removed from the menu. I would agree with stricter regulations.
On vacation in Hawaii about five years ago it was on the menu so I had to try it out of curiosity. It is VERY good. I don't know enough about the worldwide population of Marlin, if endangered lets stop the fishing, if not lets allow a few to head to the table.
