I think it is easy to say that all of the sports call in shows in this state are pretty pathetic.
This agree

They just represent the population.
I swear that I think 90% of the people who call into these shows must not have finished high school.

This I disagree 100%!

Have you ever listened to Paul Finebaum? Our callers seem like Harvard grads compared to those retards; However, the show is entertaining and Paul has GREAT guest that feature both Alabama and other college gurus. When given the choice I listen to PF. I feel like Buddy & Ott drivel about stupid crap. There are so many ways Buddy could improve his show, but he is who he is and that's why he will never be syndicated even if LSU & NO Saints won 3 championships in a row... Other media members would NEVER revere him as the "local" expert.

Hacks like Jordy & Victor H run circles around Buddy/Ott as far as media savvy but there is not a single radio show in this area worthy of being broadcast elsewhere. To blame it on the callers is wrong. There are only 20 callers that call in regular because it's an embarrassment to be heard on their show. Moscona is the closest having something legit but he comes off as amateurish and boring. At times he is all over the place. I do feel all of these guys have great passion but hell I have great passion, but it doesn't mean I should be hosting a radio show.
