Would UAT have won national championship with JJ at QB.

Absolutely.

The only difference would be that he never would have thrown the INT to PP and the game would have been a lot less interesting.

So to all these posts talking bout getting a QB who can get our five stars the ball...please

has played like a borderline 3* - 4* to this point.

the jury is still out, but has shown glimpes of brilliance.

5* dual threat QB actually. maybe he'll turn out to be a 5* WR.

What do we use for our basis of comparison? Do we compare him to the other 5 star receivers in his recruiting class, or do we look at his numbers in comparison to the 3 and 4 stars to see if he has put up similar numbers?

Compare them to Arkansas

Childs - 3* WR
Adams - 4* Athlete
WRight - 4* WR

Junk Yard Dog is right. Toliver is a good player but he hasn't lived up to his hype. He's no AJ Green. Not even Julio Jones.

I'm hoping this is his breakout year because the size and speed and open field ability are all there.

Oh and we had all of these WRs last year plus a guy who is now a starting WR in the NFL and the most prolific TE in LSU history and didn't do shite with them because of our QB play and, to a lesser degree, our line play.

Tolliver reminds me of Jerel Myers, lots of hype and mediocre productivity...
