Goodson's Cafe on Tomball Parkway for "the best chicken fried steak in the country" (as featured on the Travel Channel and Food Network)
Mel's Country Cafe
For just as good chicken fried steak and some of the best southern comfort food around. If you're feeling like a challenge, check out the Mega Mel Burger. Finish it in two hours and get it for free and your name on the wall.
Strata Restaurant and Bar
Is a newer, more upscale dining experience in the new Vintage Park development. I had the cinnamon rubbed ribeye and was blown away.
Sushi Sara
Great "moving" sushi bar with the freshest sushi in town at some of the best prices. If they don't have what you want on the conveyor belt, the owner/chef will roll up whatever you want right in front of you.
Edited to fix link

Bootsies or Goodson's.
Depends on what type of food you want.
