Yeah i was shocked to hear about Maggio. Walked into a great situation and won state but nobody seems to know many details on why he left.

Jason and UNC got into a calling each other a liar match on the recruiting board
They were both high profile assistants at the life, they prolly have scoop

i won't get into detail, but lots of factors went into maggio resigning.
couple things...
1.at a private school you have lower pay, no insurance, no retirement
2. didn't see eye to eye with the admins
there are several other reasons, but i'm not at liberty to say. he's a life long friend and he is comfortable with his decision.

CLA has gone through this before. I don't know if they still do, but they used to have this deal that the only way you could teach there was if you were also a church member there. I remember when I went there, they were just happy to have anyone be the coach.
