Looks like we have a pretty small but pretty impressive group of seniors this year. Thought it might be a good idea to give them their due.

My favorite is Kelvin Sheppard. He's come a long way from being the "other #11" (I remember when a few years ago when he would be put in on special teams some people though it was RP) and even from kind of being "the other Shep" (mostly during the recruiting of RS.) Now he's a feared defender and one of the most repected players on the team.

Good work KS.

We used to enjoy watching him on special teams! He is fun to watch.

Yep, he seems to have developed greatly under Les. Looking forward to seeing Baker play at LB too after being a stud on SP the past 2 years.

It's good to see kids who work hard, put their time in and shine. Great Tigers.

I've been diggn this guy for four years. you know when Kelvin is on the field you are getting everything he has. hope we have 10 more just like him on defense this year. our d is gonna turn some heads and separate some rb's from the rock. that's how you win...know your assignment and be opportunistic.

A good example of growth. He was an aggressive contributor on special teams as a young player, and is now the defensive captain on a team that could be very special.

A good example of a value pick under Miles - he was half of the Riley-Sheppard combo out of Stone Mountain, GA in the 2006 recruiting class. A three-star Rivals prospect at the time, not nationally ranked at his position, has developed (hey, I thought players didn't develop under Miles) so that he will be a top 4 or 5 pick at his position, and only because he is a linebacker might fall to the 4th round.
