The first two renditions of the Saban statue -- 3D photos of a clay model, actually -- were rejected in part because the face and hair were not satisfactory, Turnipseed said. A third rendition will be presented soon to Saban, his wife, Terry, and Alabama Athletics Director Mal Moore.

This is the most half baked brain dead ideas for Bama. I wonder what it will be like to look at this statue after Saban is gone, after only being there a few years. I say wait a decade before putting it up. Give it some class, don't just put it up over a full moon and expect it to have the same meaning as the one of Bear. As if a statue will keep Saban.
