Stud was the OL coach when we won the NC in 2007 and that line had coverted DL's Hitt and Stewart starting on the right side. He had to know a little something about coaching to mold that unit into one that help produce a NC. So, what's happened to him since then? Has he all of a sudden forgot how to motivate and coach technique? Didn't appear to be the same coach in 2008 and 2009.

As for Wilkerson, great players don't automatically make great coaches. He can have all the physical talent in the world, but can he effectively COMMUNICATE what he knows to the players and have that translate to the field? Nobody knows that yet. We'll see. If anything, maybe he can bring some of that nastiness and teach the Centers how to better make the calls.

If Miles felt that Stud wasn't getting the job done, he should have just canned his arse and hired an experienced veteran OL coach to take over..........

No, they didn't forget. They all got fat and lazy. Complacency.
