I'm not from BR but will be in town Thurs night and was looking for suggestions as to a good place to take my girlfriend to dinner. I was thinking about Stroubes but from the pictures on the website, it didn't look like a very good date atmosphere. Any suggestions? I was thinking possibly Digulio's or Little Village, preferably somewhere not too far from bars if we want to go out to after dinner.

Enoteca Marcello's for dinner, then walk to the Bulldog for drinks after.

i love french market bistro. but its on the far east side of br. if you dont live near there, it may be far to drive after drinking.

Digulios , Bistro Byronz are both solid options.

With Digulios you can do drinks before / after in the over pass area.

If I don't go downtown, I was thinking Enoteca or Digulio's and drinks by the overpass/ bulldog. Can anyone confirm what I said about Stroubes, it just looked like more of a place for a business dinner than a date, but there were only a few pictures on the site so I'm not sure.

I've been to Stroubes once. It's nice, but not intimate. Go to Little Village if you want to set the mood. If you don't go downtown, Marcello's is your best bet.
