Any Current Reports from Dauphin Island???

Wife and I, along with our two dogs have a beach house reserved on Dauphin Island in two weeks. We really want to go for numerous reasons. Main is because we have been renting this house from the owner for the past few years and I know D.I. and owner could really use any amount of income they can get and I want to financially support the areas as much as I can. Really don't want to cancel unless the place is just a mess ie. beaches closed, no swimming, no fishing, etc, etc. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
