frick that's bad news as they play the Falcons in Week 1 and will be breaking in a new RT as well as a backup QB.

I have a feeling the Falcons are gonna be on our arse all season long.

If you don't think the Falcons are going to be at least a 10-6 team (barring injuries) than you are a bit naive.

Probably more like 11-5 or 12-4. They are going to be legit.

Plus their schedule shakes out well. Their 2 northern games are early in the season.

1. NO
2. DAL
3. ATL
4. MIN

imo

11-5 will be good enough for second in the NFC Stout.

:rimshot:

To early for such worries IMO. There is always a surprise team that rises or two in the conference and a couple that tank when all the "experts" had em in the big game.

Just beat em all

This, exactly.
While I won't disagree that the Falcons will be a good team and may be the only one posing a threat to the Saints winning the division, it's not season-time, and even when it is: the first few games will tell more story than any speculation anyone can make.

i agree with this.

although, i think the 49ers could surprise some people this year. that defense is pretty solid, and i hate to say it but alex smith could have a decent year in that division

eta: green bay'll be up there too

Adam_Schefter Had Washington not traded for OT Jammal Brown this month, something tells me Pittsburgh would have been willing to pay more now.

Yeah I know, but if Brown was still available they wouldve went with him, hes 6 years younger.

IF, IF, IF. They would only need him for 1 season. Flozell will only be around for 1 season. They dont need anybody for any longer.

JB is only operating on a 1 year deal, so that's a wash.

if u trade a 3rd or a 4th round draft pick for someone I
am sure you are gonna want to keep him for more than 1 year.
